After growing several organizations over the past 25 years, including from start-up to over 600 employees, I found myself wondering why I was not experiencing the same level of passion and excitement I did when the company was smaller.

It became clear that my passion stemmed from my obsession with organization, details and problem solving. That I have a unique ability to see through the chaos, transcend silos and find efficiencies and opportunities to help an organization work smarter not harder and that my sweet spot was in companies from start-up to around 50 employees. I also understood that although these companies needed a COO – it was a position they couldn’t afford to hire but couldn’t afford not to have.

I realized it was time for a change and to hang my own shingle and offer the services of a seasoned COO through consulting. Hiring a consultant in place of a full-time employee offers the expertise without having to take on the big salary and additional costs like bonus, benefits, and taxes.
